Job Description
As a (junior) Commercial Talent, you’ll work alongside your colleagues on projects for high-profile clients and tackle a variety of commercial challenges. You’ll learn to provide professional and expert advice to companies, work on a project basis, and think in terms of opportunities. Driven by your ambition and interest in the energy market, you’ll stay up to date on the latest trends in our industry.
A selection of your responsibilities:
- Energy procurement;
- Claiming tax refunds for overpaid energy taxes on behalf of our clients;
- Conducting energy monitoring;
- Provide support in developing business cases for energy-saving measures;
- Performing invoice verification;
- Stay informed and provide advice on sustainable innovations.

This position is ideal for entry-level professionals with ambition and a passion for energy. Energy-Check has a flat organizational structure and is characterized by flexibility and plenty of room for initiative. Knowledge sharing is a very important aspect of our organization. As a junior commercial talent, you will therefore be assigned to various projects. You will always work alongside colleagues on behalf of our clients. Our clients’ locations are spread throughout the Netherlands and sometimes beyond. It is therefore important that you are willing to travel. In addition, we require:
- HBO or WO degree in economics and/or business administration
- Up to two years of (relevant) work experience
- An interest in the energy market, sustainability, and/or developments in these areas
- Communication Skills
- Working on a project basis is a plus for you
- Someone who thinks in terms of possibilities and opportunities
