Data Specialist, AI Specialist, Energy Data & Automation

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an AI Specialist in Energy Data & Automation. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing AI and automation within our organization. You will help colleagues work smarter, faster, and more efficiently by automating repetitive tasks and making the most of energy data.

You’ll be working at the intersection of AI, energy data, automation, and process improvement. In doing so, you’ll use tools such as Claude Pro, our data warehouse, and various analytics tools.

Purpose of the position: to increase productivity, quality, and speed within our energy consulting practice.

What are you going to do?

AI & Automation

• Developing and implementing AI applications for internal and customer processes
• Automating energy-related Excel calculations, analyses, reports, presentations, and documents
• Developing AI workflows for routine tasks

Energy Data & Data Warehouse

• Analyzing and extracting energy data from the data warehouse
• Automating the Analysis of Electricity, Gas, and Heating Data
• Supporting data analyses, advisory reports, and research reports (including grid congestion studies and sustainability recommendations)

Prompt Engineering & AI Quality

• Developing prompts and AI workflows within Claude Pro
• Ensuring standards, quality, and reliable AI results
• Translating Energy Challenges into Practical AI Solutions

Digitization & Further Development

• Setting up the AI work environment and supporting colleagues
• Further development of the data warehouse, customer portal, and data-driven services
• Translating business processes into IT, data, and AI solutions
• Initiating and overseeing digitization and automation projects

What do you bring to the table?

• An interest in AI, data, and automation
• Experience with or a strong interest in Claude Pro, prompt engineering, and AI workflows
• Experience with Excel, data processing, and process automation
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp processes
• Practical mindset: You focus on solutions and automation
• Experience in the energy sector is a plus, but we consider motivation and a willingness to learn to be more important
• Preferably living within a 30-minute commute of our office in Roosendaal or Zwolle
